Walupeach Was Rejected By Shigeru Miyamoto Before He Even Saw Any Designs

It goes without saying that Nintendo knows sticking Wa at the beginning of a character's name equals success. However, there's a reason that winning formula hasn't been extended beyond Wario and Waluigi, and it comes in the form of a pitch to create a character called Walupeach. The Walupeach concept isn't new. Camelot Software Planning's Shugo Takahashi revealed to Nindori in 2008 that the great minds at Nintendo thought there was money to be made by creating a Peach-based version of Waluigi. That interview resurfaced recently via Nintendo Dream Web (thanks, Nintendo Life), and after being translated, the short-lived fate of Walupeach was revealed. Bitcoin Price Goes Parabolic, Up 28% Already This Year: Here's What Analysts Are Forecasting

Image
The price of Bitcoin has increased 28 percent so far this year, thanks in part to investor optimism about signs of a slowdown in the inflation rate and hopes that the U.S. Federal Reserve will ease off interest rate hikes. Bitcoin rose above $21,000 on Saturday for the first time in two months, up 28 percent month-to-date, and was trading at $21,261.39 as of this writing. That’s given crypto fans cause for rejoicing. The Fed raised borrowing rates seven times in 2022 to try and combat the high rate of inflation, sending risk assets such as stocks — especially tech stocks — into a downward spiral. The central bank’s benchmark funds rate increased to 4.25-4.5 percent in December, reaching its highest level since 2007. Bitcoin was caught up in the market drama around lending rates, as it is increasingly viewed by investors as a risky asset. Risk assets are typically highly volatile. Equities, real estate and currencies also fall into this...

Image
When police found Mary Reeser, most of her body was burned to ashes. It is difficult to understand that all furniture in the apartment is almost intact. This mysterious case for the past 70 years has not found a convincing answer. On July 2, 1951, Pansy Carpenter, Mary Reeser’s landlady, stopped by the tenant’s apartment to send a telegram. When Pansy knocked on the door, no one answered. She put her hand on the doorknob and felt unusually hot, so she called the police. Police immediately went to the apartment at 1,200 Cherry Street (St. Petersburg town, Florida, USA) and discovered Mrs. Marry Reeser, 67 years old, burned to death in a mysterious fire. Reports say that the victim’s body was burned to ashes by a “white” flame – the color shows a temperature between 1,300-1,500 degrees Celsius, equivalent to the temperature in a crematorium. Ancient Maya statue with a face similar to a QR code caused a stir in public opinion

Image
A photo of a statue whose face resembles a QR code is causing a stir in the media. Some imaginative people argue that it is evidence of the existence of ancient aliens. Ancient Mayan ruins in Mexico are present almost everywhere. But only a few have been excavated, and their priceless artifacts are housed in museums across Mexico. However, one artifact that makes many people feel amazed is the statue whose face resembles a QR code. Is this proof that aliens have come to Earth from time immemorial? The statue has an unusual face In fact, this face is a flat clay plate that looks a lot like the QR code we are still using in modern society to scan into smart devices.  There is a theory that the purpose of creating this statue at the time was to allow people thousands of years later to use it as a scanning code. Having a bag of chips on his head, an abandoned dog battles for his life.

Image
A  defenseless puppy was about to lose his life  when left in the middle of a snowy field with  its small head stuck in a bag of potatoes,  until a Samaritan saw it and decided to intervene. Homeless puppies try to find food, but many times they are unaware of the risks they may be taking. The recording of a man in Manitoba, Canada, shows the furry man sitting on two legs with his head raised as if trying to breathe. The poor pup had gotten stuck in a potato bag,  most likely while trying to eat the leftovers inside, and was running out of air by the time the Samaritan saw him. In the images, the furry tries to get out of the problem and shakes his head vigorously, hoping that the bag would break or he could remove it, but his pirouettes don’t work. Although the recording does not show until the moment when the person is closer to the puppy, apparently the animal was in an unstable area and it was difficult for the Samaritan to reach the place. The subject had spot...

Meet the world’s largest Land Crab that may have eaten Amelia Earhart Alive

Image
The coconut crab – the world’ s largest land crab – can weigh over 4 kg (8.8 lbs) and span nearly a meter (3 feet) across. This guy can rip open a coconut with its power-claws, and it can also climb trees (ouch)! And, it could be the animal that devoured Amelia Earhart… “Monstrous.” That was the word that left Charles Darwin’s lips when he first saw a coconut crab. And indeed, it’s no ordinary crab. It’s strong enough to carry more than six times its own weight. In Darwin’s days, there were rumors that the crabs could climb trees and dangle from them for hours on a single pincer, holding on by nothing more than a single pincer-like some massive overgrown spider. There were stories that their claws were so strong that they could break through a coconut. And there were stories that they could tear a human being apart, limb by limb. Darwin didn’t believe most of these rumors, but in the end they turne...
