Telstra customer receives $700 refund five years after complaining about unexplained charges to their account
Telstra customers are urged to check their accounts after one customer received a $700 refund for services they had been auto-subscribed to. The customer posted about their $707 refund on social media saying they had first noticed they were being charged for premium services five years ago and had tried to chase it up with Telstra but had been unsuccessful. They told 7NEWS.com.au that they had been signed up for a service called Sports Chat - a service they had never agreed or wanted to sign up for.
