Enzo Fernandez transfer: Agent denies Chelsea exit considered

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez is set to stay at the club, the player's agent has confirmed amid rumours to the contrary that he is already considering an exit from Stamford Bridge. Fernandez joined Chelsea last January for what was then a British record £108m, moving to west London from Benfica within weeks of winning the 2022 World Cup with Argentina and signing an unfathomably long eight and a half year contract until the summer of 2031. But the 23-year-old, who walked away from the World Cup in Qatar with the award for best young player, has struggled to consistently perform and justify his immense transfer fee. Chelsea have generally struggled throughout that time, sinking into the bottom half of the Premier League . Agent Uriel Perez has, however, denied there are any plans to look for a new team. Tottenham announce Radu Dragusin transfer

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Romanian defender Radu Dragusin from Serie A side Genoa, with Djed Spence heading in the opposite direction on loan until summer. Dragusin has signed a long-term contract until 2030 and will wear the number six shirt previously occupied by Davinson Sanchez, who left for Galatasaray in September. The 21-year-old centre-back was scouted by Juventus at the age of 16 and eventually four times for the first-team in Turin. He had played on loan in Serie with Sampdoria and Salernitana, before a breakout season at Genoa in Serie B in 2022/23, during which he joined them permanently. Tottenham are believed to have agreed a deal worth up to £26m, including add-ons. It marks a quick and substantial profit for Genoa, having paid Juve only €5.5m (£.47m) plus add-ons.
